How Mapscape became one of the Top 250 Scale-ups in 2017

We are proud to have reached a new milestone in the history of Mapscape: being one the Top 250 Scaleup companies in the Netherlands. In three consecutive years we have grown more than 20% each year. With this achievement we salute other well-known scale-ups in this Top 250, like Rituals, Coolblue, AFAS, Booking.com, Catawiki, Quooker, Social Deal, WeTransfer, and YER Talent.

We believe that by having a special company DNA, you can grow faster than other similar size companies. The DNA leverages on good leadership, a diversified and multi-cultural team, employees with an entepreneurship attitude, and close partnering with customers and suppliers on highly advanced projects. Mapscape is a company where you are challenged to come up with your own ideas to improve processes on a daily basis. And this all in the dynamic automotive market of car navigation and autonomous vehicles.

In order to keep growing, we are also expanding our long term innovation roadmap in the areas of delivery drones, transportation, logistics, and construction machines. As an example, we are closely working together with knowledge institutes, universities, and industry partners, on level-5 autonomous driving buses. Last year this resulted in the successful launch of the WEpods buses on the public road.
