As a Windows System Administrator, you will be part of a team providing support to 200 internal customers (and growing).
You are co-responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.

Work Description:
Mapscape and Navinfo Europe are sister companies within the Navinfo group. Each located in two separate offices at/near the Flight Forum area in Eindhoven. They are sharing IT support. The IT infrastructure is a combination of Linux and Windows, with an on premise server room and racks in an off-site datacenter. Mapscape has a more stable established IT infrastructure. Navinfo Europe is growing and has therefore a more dynamic nature.

The Windows System Administrator configures, installs and maintains servers, storage and applications. Does daily monitoring of system functions to verify correct system operation. Is Co-responsible for system availability and security. Responds to department inquiries and provide technical assistance as second level support, serves as a backup for first line support. The migration to Microsoft Office 365 and thereafter the maintenance and trouble shooting in case of any problems will be an important part of this position.


Main responsibility of the System Administrators is provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of the windows server, laptop and desktop systems and related infrastructure. This infrastructure consists of two different setups at both companies and contains around 15 Windows servers and 50 Windows laptops/desktops in total.

What we expect


• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (must),
• HBO level “ICT Beheer”,
• Over 5 years relevant work experience after graduation in maintaining a Windows infrastructure,
• You are open minded to experiment and research new applications to improve the work environment,
• Microsoft certified,
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 (Desktop),
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and 2019 with services like DNS, DHCP, VPN, Active Directory (trusts), Filesharing, GPO, Bitlocker, MDT and more like these,
• Work experience with Samba and NFS,
• Knowledge of Cloud services like AWS and Okta,
• Experience with IT security (like ISO27001),
• Generalist with strong analytical skills,
• Solution driven, customer and service oriented,
• Pragmatic and dedicated,
• Independent and creative,
• Command of written and spoken English,
• Can deal with the dynamics of a start-up organisation.
